This year’s Open Night Exhibition Food Glorious Food has been a scrumptious success. The exhibition is a reflection of CBPS’s motto Achieving Together with Pride. Our entire school contributed to the show with displays now open at both the office entrance and in the library. On Open Night, we transformed the Art Room into a magical candy land with 285 visitors walking through the space. The exhibition remained open for the interschool athletics carnival, and a further 89 visitors came to see the artworks.
Here are some of the positive things the public said about Food Glorious Food:
- makes me want an ice-cream.
- I can stare at this all day.
- the ice-cream is supposed to symbolise global warming.”
- it is a candy kingdom.
A special thank you to the students who worked as curators, photographers and gallery sitters over the past few days.
