Book Week News

Book Week Parade

Wow! What an amazing effort and parade we had yesterday morning. Thank you to everyone for supporting our Book Week activities and dressing up for the parade.  There was such a wide variety of costumes with a range of book characters to several curious creatures. Staff were dressed in their safari gear in search of those curious creatures and wild minds across the school.

Good Night Story Time and Book Fair

Our ever popular Good Night Story Time will be held in the library – today Wednesday 12 August from 5:30pm to 6:00pm. Students are invited to come to school at this time in their cozy PJ’s and dressing gown to be entertained by Mr. David Mead our Ed Connect volunteer. Younger students should be accompanied by an adult or older sibling. Please remember that there is no food or drink permitted in the library.

The Book Fair will be open for sales before story time from 4:30 to 5:15pm and again from 6:00pm to 6:45pm. Books sales will also be available on Thursday and Friday, before school from 8:15am to 8:45am morning and at the end of the day from 2:30pm to 3:45pm. Sales have already been great and remember you can also donate books to the library. Look out for the special sign on the books selected by our wonderful library officer Kate Ellis.
