PEAC Testing

The PEAC Program provides part time extension and enrichment for exceptionally able students in Years 5 and 6. The range of courses provide identified students with work that is intellectually challenging across a broad range of topics and the opportunity to work with like-minded peers.  All Year 4 students will undertake PEAC testing during Week 1 or 2, Term 4. Parents of the Year 4 students will be informed of the date next term. There are two tests of about 45 minutes each. The students will be given a short crunch and sip break between the two tests.  If you do not wish your child to be included in the PEAC assessment, please notify the school in writing by Tuesday 13 October. The scores from the test will be used in the selection of students for PEAC courses and extension programs during 2020 to 2021 and also to inform educational provision in schools.
