What a busy term this has been with many events including most recently the Open Night, Athletics Carnivals and Room 6 assembly. Photos of these events are in gallery on the website, be sure to have a look at the enjoyment that the school community had from these events.
With the new look e-newsletter, the “From the Deputy” will be brief with links to the website. There will be updates for Wipe Out Waste and You Can Do It being posted to the website a couple of times each term, this will provide a focus for the newsletter each fortnight. Just as a quick update on Wipe Out Waste please remember to collect and bring in the items that each class is collecting for recycling: bread tags, ring pulls, batteries, milk bottle tops, Nespresso pods, oral care product, old stationery items and PET bottles.
To keep you up to date, look in the “What’s Happening” tab for coming events. For a complete overview of the term a copy of the Term 4 Planner is also available to print.
Two important things for the start of next term are PEAC Testing for Year 4 students and Operation Christmas Child – this will replace our Sunnies for Skin Cancer day that had been planned for Week 2.
I am off a few days early to enjoy the sunshine and family time with my daughter in Karratha. Have a wonderful term break. Get plenty of rest and relaxation to be ready for a fun and final term for 2020.
Warm regards
Alison Jenkins
